Exhibition Antibody

I was invited by the Gallery CuboLibre in Zurch to exhibit my personal works. In my exposition Antibody I am working with the fascination for the ugliness, the liking for the disliking. A profound aversion which at the same time retrieves itself in the desire for the disgust.
When analyzing the stereotypical characteristics of ugliness through history, the following always make their way: woozily and sparse hair, gazing eyes, lots of body hair, obesity, wide face, crooked teeth and other physical anomalies…etc. We have to look closely, we can’t turn away, we generate a liking for the disliking and find ourselves in the conflict between the repulsive appearance of a character and its fascinating personality.
