My final Illustration for the Third year design students gallery exhibition.

’Never stress fashion. It’s fleeting. You miss a trend one season, there is always a new one to come around the corner’ (Erin Wasson).
Designers are responsible for developing a tangible sensory experience that reflects the mood of our changing culture, often influenced by nature. The natural seasons have a unique relationship with fashion and forecasting visual interpretations of clothing is a complex, intuitive process that occurs two years in advance of each season.
I am passionate about illustration, and my image is hand-drawn and digitally scanned. My work explores how fashion is influenced by the ever-shifting cycle of the natural seasons. I have created four models to represent the four seasons connected by the natural essences of nature that move in and out of the temporary yet inevitable changes of the year.

I worked on this Illustration piece for weeks, I drew each of the girls in pencil at A2 size. I then got them scanned and coloured them in Photoshop and then I got it printed at A0. I was so happy to see it hanging in the gallery.
