Some people like words, some people like pictures. Illustrator Wendy MacNaughton is pretty darn great at both. Which is why I brought her in to document this year's 99% Conference.

For those who don't know 99% is Behance's annual conference about "making ideas happen" - its name inspired by the Thomas Edison quotation, "Genius is 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration."

What follows is an illustrated inventory of Wendy's observations, from the big-picture insights our speakers shared to the chatter & ideas that buzzed around the conference center for two days.
