Yoshi is a new ‘T’ shirt design label. The brand needed to tap into a youth sub-culture whilst also maintaining a sense of quality and ‘street’ credibility. The final logo design is a simple ‘Y’ facilitating the company name and two colour swatches. It is a simple design that would translate well as a print or stitched logo. The illustrations for Yoshi where largely influenced by 1950’s animation. Incorporating stylised cartoon design with some bizarre products resulted in a humorous yet stylish illustration series.
